Prepare to be welcomed as part of a family the moment you enter the community on your Puerto Rico mission trip. The local pastors and churches are known for inviting the Praying Pelican Missions teams into their homes and treating them as honored guests. Your Puerto Rico mission trip will give you and your team an opportunity to experience a rich culture and serve among people with a great passion for the Lord.
After widespread devastation in 2017 due to Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the efforts to recover will continue for years to come. Praying Pelican Missions, through an already strong network of partnerships, was able to respond quickly after the hurricane and has been able to provide a steady stream of short-term teams and long-term resources ever since. They will continue to serve alongside local churches in their efforts to clean up, rebuild, and support local community members.
With Praying Pelican Missions, your mission trip to Puerto Rico will be life-changing for your mission team as you will get to know a local pastor who is passionate about the ministry and community that God has called him or her to. Our Praying Pelican Missions staff will work with you to ensure that your team's unique gifts will be used to meet a real need while you are on the ground serving in Puerto Rico. When this happens, not only will the local church and community be blessed in a tangible way, your mission team will go home with their hearts full.
Our partners in Puerto Rico are waiting for you to come serve with them, pray with them, laugh with them, and cry with them. As you seek out mission trip opportunities for the next year, consider serving on this Puerto Rico mission trip!
Situated in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, the alluring landscape of Colorado has drawn many people over the span of centuries to call the area their home. The values of strength, resilience, and independence are clear and apparent in the various communities throughout this diverse state.
From bustling metropolitan areas to rural mountain towns, the Church in Colorado is alive and active, ready to partner alongside your mission team to meet real needs in their communities. Colorado has become home to a diverse population and has been rapidly growing over the past several years. This influx of people moving to the area is an incredible opportunity for the Church to reach beyond their walls and engage with what God is doing around them!
PPM has partners ready to host your team along the eastern edge of the Rockies - from Denver proper to Fort Collins, to Colorado Springs, and over to Estes Park. Your mission team will have the opportunity to serve alongside a local church as they minister in their community.
You may find yourself serving in the metropolitan area of Denver, where a diverse population of people have a wide variety of needs. Your service could look like sorting donations in a food pantry or serving those experiencing homelessness. Or you may find yourself in the mountains or foothills supporting a church as they impact their community for Christ. You may assist a church with leading their VBS or hosting an outreach event. Wherever God leads you to partner, your mission team will have some incredible opportunities to serve alongside churches with ready and willing hearts to serve.
